The girl on the train Quotes (Review)

Book: The girl on the train (2015) Author:  Paula Hawkins Goodreads: 3.94 It's a psychological thriller , written in three POV’s (point of view), Rachel catches the same commuter train every morning. She knows it will wait at the same signal each time, overlooking a row of back gardens. She’s even started to feel like she knows the people who live in one of the houses. “Jess and Jason,” she calls them. Their life—as she sees it—is perfect. If only Rachel could be that happy. And then she sees something shocking. It’s only a minute until the train moves on, but it’s enough. Now everything’s changed. Now Rachel has a chance to become a part of the lives she’s only watched from afar. Now they’ll see; she’s much more than just the girl on the train... as the book is related psychological based, the characters seem to me are overly exaggerated,   there are three POV's, Rachal, Anna, and Megan. Rachal starts to narrate the story, telling about her getting in her regular train, then

Thirteen reasons why Quotes (Review)

Have you read this book? After coming from school Clay Jensen finds a suspicious shoebox at his doorsteps with his name written over it, inside it contains several cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker–his classmate and crush–who committed suicide two weeks earlier. Those 13 taps are the reason for her suicide and clay is one of them. Note: do not feel offended, it's my personal thoughts and opinion  _____spoilar alert____ This book created a lot of hype when the series came, also the reason why I picked this one up to read. Sure I was dumb enough to not check out the reviews before buying it, anyway, I did check out some afterward and most of them were pretty positive and saying how they can 100% relate to this book and was so impressed till giving it a 5 star, while I here was wondering why can't I? I wanted to understand her and her reasons for taking such a big step and assumed the book will reveal something unexpected in the latter chapters or maybe she will muster up

First Snow (short story)

She threw the window open; leaving the pitch-dark room illuminated with a pretty shade of grey. A shiver ran down her spine, and the cold breeze greeted her, making her hair dance behind her shoulder. It was snowing. First Snow!! The very first snow of the season!! It was dark outside, but she could still see the blanket of crystal snow covering the tower of logs. She gathered her hands around her, a poor attempt at comfort.  The wind was howling through the woods, making the tree branches shake to their core. She couldn't help but recall her days at the castle, her spacious room, the shining floor, the gold-plated window frames, her beautiful daisy-printed curtains, the soft and fluffy bed, she was already missing them, miserably. when she was young a witch knocked on the doors of the castle, she claimed that the daughter of the second king will be the reason for the downfall of the kingdom. but when she was born her father never distanced her, his action never showed an

(1 PART) Mira's POV I was sitting in front of my dresser, getting ready for the so-called meeting my parents had arranged for me; Matchmaking, that's what they call... "Don't you have at least one single picture of his in your phone" Kavya, my best friend grumbled, scrolling through my phone gallery without my permission. "No" I replied flatly, why the hell would I have a picture of a guy whom I met once? Suresh and I WERE childhood friends, but after their family shifted out, we never once saw each other, let alone talked to him. She made the tch sound, extremely disappointed at my disinterest in the matter. When I was about to counter her with something savage; a knocked on the door distracted us. It was my mother, she was peeping through the door so I presume she had already stepped in before showing her presence. It had always been like that. Being born in a conservative family and on top of that growing up in Delhi like a city; there's
